Hello All,
I am really new. And I'm wanting to try-out MyMovies on my H1 for the first time! I have a small number of titles on one usb connected to dune, named "My Stuff" and that shows-up. I've created my index and that resides on a separate usb connected to dune player.
Opening index usb on dune I select My Movies, All Titles, select a title, and I see the most beautiful Data display, I want to start my selection, enter, and I get url connection failed.
I must have missed a step or two?
I've read My movies, Written Documentation ten times.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
hdserv

check the metadata for dune config in collection management and look at the "configure access rights" for your path. It should be configured as "attached" and named "My Stuff" (if it's the correct name of your drive, with correct caps lock if needed). If you didn't do this, your path should be red checked (once correctly configured it will be green checked).

The path is green checked. It's configured as "attached" and named "My Stuff". Something else seems to be missing?
Thank You!

try to delete the index and rebuilt.
Also check at the root of your drive for a dune_folder.txt file, inside there should be a simple line "storage_name=XXX", XXX should be My Stuff, if it's not then you will need to change it.

Thanks Buddy for your helping!
Okay, I rebuilt my index as you suggested. Checked my Dune file system_storage= My Stuff, it's there.
I still fail to start my selection.
I get this,
Failed to open url
url: storage_name://My Stuff/TV Shows/Archer/Archer S01E01/Archer S01E01.mkv
I'm thinking I have one too many "My Stuff" ??

Your file is inside a sub folder ? It shouldn't, you should have it organized like that : /my stuff/tv shows/archer/archer s01e01.mkv
You don't need a sub folder per episode or mm won't find any file to play (it's only looking to the first level after /archer).

HMMM. I reworked my entire project. Started fresh with different titles and still I'm having having the same issue. For example, I made My Stuff/Movies/Basic Instinct/Basic Instinct.MP4 And I got similar message, Failed to open url. See my attachment Thanks, hdserv media_url=storage_name://My Stuff//Movies/Basic Instinct/Basic Instinct.mp4 File Attachment(s):

rename your drive and remove the "_" from "My_Stuff". Can be the problem...(in fact I'm pretty sure)

Success!
Thanks Buddy!
The space between My and Stuff was the trouble.
I started again.
Renamed drive, My Stuff. Now Videos
media_url=storage_name://Videos//Movies/Basic Instinct/Basic Instinct.mp4
You're the Best.
