I want to install MyMovies on an existing SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 installation.
I appreciate MyMovies will install on it's own instance, that is fine. What I need to know is whether the instance can be installed as a new instance on an existing SQL engine. Obviously the default (server name) instance has already been created at the time of installation.
Will MyMovies use this server engine and install it's own instance on it?

Thanks for the quick response.
I already have My Movies installed with it's SQL Server 2008R2 Express and everything is fine on WHS 2011
However, I'm wanting to put Developer Edition of R2 SP1 on the server so I can integrate with SharePoint foundation. Are you aware of any issues with installing Developer ALONGSIDE Express edition, beraing in mind they are the same version of SQL (just different edition).
I'd hate to try and install Developer alongside it and find it corrupts the MyMovies database.
