Hi y'all,
I seem to be getting more and more DVD's that are 'multiple movie' DVD's. IE. the single Jewel case has 2 different movies inside. What's the best practice for loading this information into My Movies Collection Management?
I have several scenario's that I'd like to know how people are dealing with: -
Scenario 1. "Bourne 3 Disc Set" - 3 DVD movies in 1 case. The Case has the only barcode. Currently I am adding this as 1 title with 3 DVD's, however My Movies Collection Management does not allow for the information of 3 DVD's on the main page, only 1 (eg. Aspect Ratio / Rating / Audio / Subtitles / etc. - all of which can be different for each seperate DVD therin). This then shows in the Windows Media Center plugin as 1 movie, though it is actually 3 movies in 1 case.
Scenario 2. "The Monty Python Collection" - 3 DVD movies, 3 seperate cases in a container. The container has a barcode AND each of the seperate cases have barcodes. So far I've been adding this as a typical Box Set, however when viewing in Windows Media Center (via plugin) I am presented with the container as a 'DVD' (eg. "The Monty Python Collection") then the seperate DVD's container therein (eg. "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"). Also the container is constantly showing up in My Movies Collection Management as Red in that the My Movies Collection Management expects everything to be a DVD if it has a barcode, so it's complaining that it's missing the Aspect Ration / Rating / Audio / Subtitles / etc. - all of which can be different for each seperate DVD therin).
