Just downloaded pro to android 2.21, Below is what I see when I try to run... how is this remedied?
"The application license could not be verified. Be sure that the Google account registered on the device is the one that was used to purchase the application through Android Market, and that you are connected to the internet the first time you run the application after having switched on your phone or changed network settings."

The FAQ gives explanations and possible solutions. Have you verified your Google receipt and and that your device has internet connection? If the problem is not resolved then more information may be required from you.

I keep getting that response too, and I am connected to the internet, and I only have 1 google account so that ain't the problem either. I think it might be the license response server(s) which are down. However it could be a program bug if they've updated something in the license checking server or something..

I can use it again, I had to uninstall and reinstall it before it'd allow me to open the app. :/

There have been some situations of invalid data stored by the Google Play Store application. We have updated the KB article to instruct to clear it's data. http://kb.mymovies.dk/KnowledgebaseArticle50045.aspx
