Hi
I have just downloaded and installed My Movies 4.02 to my Windows 7 (64bit) system. When I try to start the Collection Management program, I receive an error message: "There was a problem connecting to the local database server. The program cannot continue."
How can I fix this? Thanks.

you didnt install the stand alone server. otherwise it would have connected. reinstall the software and select client\server or standalone and it will then connect to your local machine. FYI: I concede that i may give incorrect feedback, but I will try to be accurate as possible Window Server Details WHS2011: ASUS E35M1-M Pro, 8GB Ram, 16TB Storage, My Movies For WHS 2.1.3 Build 6W2012ESS: AMD Operton 6272 2.1GHz, 8GB Ram, No Storage Yet Home Theatre PC's HTPC: Win7 64Bit, ASUS E35M1-M PRO, 8GB Ram, 2xHauppuage PCIe Dual TV Tuners, MyMovies 4.5 Build 4, Samsung 32in 1080pHTPC: Win7 64Bit, GIGABYTE GA-E350N-USB3, 8GB Ram, MyMovies 4.5 Build 4, HiSense 42in 1080p Mobile Devices Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus (Android 4.0.5 Ice Cream Sandwich): My Movies Pro for Android 1.94Samsung Galaxy S II (Android 4.1.2 JellyBean): My Movies Pro for Android 1.94 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Androjd 4.1.2 Jellybean): My Movies Pro for Android 1.94 My Own Development WorkVirtualized w/ W2012ESS Production WWS2008: 4 Cores, 2.1GHz, 5GB Ram, 250GB HDDMy Collection

OK, I'll try to install "stand alone". It's just I thought I should install a client-server, according to the following link: http://www.mymovies.dk/how-to/written-documentation.aspx?Page=Cataloging%20and%20Watching

How can I fix this? Thanks. This is probably down to Microsoft SQL Server Express either not installing or not Starting correctly. Steve
