I had a look in the written documentation but wanted clarification...
If a series has a major update within TheTVDB.com, does that change propagate through into MyMovies?
The main reason is that I asked about Saber Marionette J on the forums at TheTVDB and was asked to make the changes myself to merge that and its sequels into the one entry. Now there are 2 seasons + specials. Will that change appear here so I can update my collection? Or will I need to edit the TV series myself here?

I maybe wrong...but as far as I am aware, until a user updates the MM database with any information about a particular TV Series the data will remain to be coming from TheTVDB, once a MM user inputs data about the TV Series the link is then broken. Hopefully we'll get an answer on this from a mod/admin as I'd rather avoid manual updating these :D
Nothing like being lazy if you can :P

It is basically how snarbo described it.
Until a title is contributed to in our system, it will load changes from TheTVDB.com - once it have been contributed to in our system, it will no longer update from there.

Thanks for the confirmation Binnerup. I'd better get on and edit that series then.
I'll re-read the TV series guide to make sure I'm doing it right but if there's any good advice/common things that bug the mods that I should watch out for?

You could go to TheTVDB.com join their forum which then allows you to edit their data which will feed down into MM as well. But failing that as I previously stated if you just edit the MM data, then it will be down to MM Users to update any changes. Other than that, have fun. Steve PS TheTVDB is free to join.
