HI,
I have a Windows 7 machine running as a client and server.
I have another Windows7 Machine running as a client.
I have just tried to re-activate an older machine I had which is running Vista. The version of MM was out of date so I tried to update it. The only version available is 3.25.
BUT, it won't let me connect to the Server because of version differences. Is there any way to connect this Vista machine?
Thanks
Shane

My Movies 4.x is not compatible with Vista. Microsoft made a few changes between Vista and 7 in Windows Media Center. The My Movies guys would have to maintain two different code lines. Vista and 7, so it was decided that My Movies 4.x would only support Windows 7. So I believe your only option would be to upgrade your Vista system to Windows 7. Also the database changes in My Movies 4.x would totally be screwed if they let a Windows Vista machine connect to the same database.
