Friends and family that come over for movie nights want to know what movies I have on 3D. I have currently set (hopefully all) of my 3D blurays to a "PreOwned" status so that I can sort them manually.

You can create a filter in CM. Under the edit filter options you will see Is Blu-ray 3D, Is not Blu-ray 3D, Both

That is great news! But what is CM? :)
Is that only on the desktop application or will that custom filter show on my phone as well?

CM is the Collection Management tool for Windows or OSX. Unfortunately I don't have an iDevice or Android to test the filters out on. I know they do work with WMC. Maybe another user would have some more information for you.

Do filters you create in CM transfer over?

That is correct, there is no way to just select in the Android app BluRay 3D. For people like me who use Android and Linux we currently have no possibility to select that. It wuld be great if features form the stand alone app in Windows and OSX would make it into the Android version :)

Thanks guys

Android is development wise some months after iPhone and iPad, as it was started later.

The filter option for 3D have been added to our local code for Android, and will be in the next larger release - when I say larger, it is because we may release small updates in between if there are issues.
