I am using MyMovies from the beginning and love it. Now for years I have stopped using Media Center and use XBMC since.

Is it anyway possible to make a integration with XBMC like you did with Media Center?
OR
Now I use MyMovies formaly for my dvd collection. Which I can import to my XBMC library by creating a empty file named with the movie title ending with .disc
Is there a way you could add a function in MyMovies so it automatically creates these files so XBMC can use these. It would be the most easiest way to add any XBMC coalition.
It would need to create a empty file for every tittle in the MyMovies library for example: Spider-Man (2001).disc
Or even easier. Is there a way to reverse the process with online media. Like MyMovies stores the data inside a movie folder. Could it create folders for offline discs so people can batch rename .tbn files to .disc files or use meta data option in MyMovies to autmaticly save fanart as a .disc file.
There is such a small gap between getting any export method to XBMC.

There is already a scraper add-on of MyMovies.dk for XBMC, I hope XBMC is on the map for MyMovies.

Thanx

The chance of us developing user interfaces for XBMC is zero.

However improving the XBMC meta-data storage is something we will be looking into at some point.

@taliezin
Hi, I got the same problem. I have about 250 original disc and all managed in mymovies.
I just startet yesterday to script a php file, so that it creates me out of the xml export of mymovies the folder and .disc file for each movie and creates even the nfo file.
Till now it works great. I am now going one step further and want to import the front Covers as well.
Its just command line but its fine.

So if you are interested, you need php to launch (linux = no problem, windows = http://php.net/manual/de/install.windows.installer.php )

PM me.

With Cinavia becoming more and more prevalent, and with it being implemented within TMT and PowerDVD, the days of using commercial software to playback our rips is going to become more cumbersome than it's worth. The simple integration we had with WMC may become pointless if we can't playback our BD rips without being able to use software that doesn't require Cinavia, and we may be forced forced to go the routes of the XMBC's of the world.

Already I'm planning on the future and trying to decide if it's worth sticking with ISO's and Folder rips, or if it will be better to convert everything to a single codec and container, and just live with MKV's.

I'll be building a new house soon and I'd like to be able to stick a single, inexpensive, media player at each TV so the family can draw upon all the media. Building HTPC's for each TV isn't going to happen. Not when I can use a small box like a WD TV to accomplish the task.
