Hello all, trying to get XBMC working on an original Xbox to read the data from MyMovies collection. I'm not sure if I did this right, maybe someone with some experience can read it over quickly and let me know.
1. First I shared the folder on the MyMovies server.
1.5 Went into options in MyMovies and got it to create NFO files.
2. Added a source on the XBMC Xbox, being a SMB Share
3. Scanned for data
Pretty simple, but I'm having a couple problems. One is that XBMC gets stuck while scanning and just sits there. I look at the debug log and remove the movie that it gets stuck on, restart and it continues on. It does this for roughly 1 out of 25 movies. I have a large collection and don't want to do this every time.
Second, even though I have all the box covers downloaded in MyMovies, the XBMC won't make some of the cover images and just gives it the default image. And ideas?

Some XBMC Skins are better for displaying NFO (meta-data). You may try "Aeon skin" and change the view mod while browsing your files..
