I have my 3D movies in MKV Side By Side format and I would like them to have the 3d icon in MyMovies. Unfortunatley even with the 3d bluray checked it doesn't show up.

Am I doing something wrong?

Have you enabled display of 3D icons?

Brian I've enabled "display 3d icons" under tools - options, and the discs in CM show to be 3d movies in the check box but there's no icon that shows up. Any other better ideas? I'm using 4.02 PR 3.

I'm experiencing this too. I thought I remember seeing them before (but could be mistaken), so I THINK it worked at one time, but not now. I have both "Display 3D Blu-ray Icons" and "Display HD Dimension Icons" checked in the options in CM. The regular (2D) Blu-ray movies show the 1080 icon, but the 3D Blu-rays show nothing (3D OR 1080).

Please upgrade to the final version of 4.02.

Then we can try to look at it.

I am on the final version. lynnestes reported it on PR3, but I presume that's because his post is from September. I've bumped an old thread, but I didn't want to create a new one since it's the same issue he and shermer321 reported. FWIW, I've checked on three different clients: they all have "Display 3D Blu-ray Icons" checked in CM, but on all three, the icon (as well as they resolution) is missing on all titles checked as being Blu-ray 3D.

I am having the exact same problem. Althought 'display 3d icons' is checked in collection management, none of the 3D logos show up. I am running the latest version of 4.02 on all my servers and clients.

Is there any fix for this? FWIW, I expect this is more of a MM for Media Center issue, rather than a CM issue. I can designate disks as being 3D, and I can tell that it has an effect because the resolution icon goes away in the Media Center display. But the 3D icon just doesn't show up.

I'm now using 4.03 PR3 and still have the same problem. I just can't get the 3d icons to show up. The 3d icon is enabled and each movie shows a check mark in the box that its a 3d movie.

Now with 4.03 PR 4 this fixes the 3d Icon problem for me. Thanks Brian for all your good work. The program just gets better and better.
