While the scanning with the iPhone 4 works extremely well,

I am confused with the scanning on my iMac 27 (2010):
Why is the image mirrored?

And it does not focus.
And it does not recognize any bar code.

I did not succeed at all!

This looks odd indeed.

I will try to check it.

Can you give us the exact specs on your machine - and, are you using Pro or Free verson?

As I mentionned: iMac 27 (2010)
2.93 GHz i7

I use the Free version;
with 76 contribution points, but still only 50 titles allowed...but that's another story.Undecided

I have just checked with our developers - the image is supposed to be mirrored, as it otherwise is difficult to position the image correct.

Can I try to get you to follow this KB article to give us technical details of your camera?

Regarding the points - we have found that the documented limit is different than what is in the Free version currently - it currently have Points / 10 = number of titles, but minimum 50. What is documented is (Points / 10) + 50.

The next version will change it, so that it matches documentation.

I am having the same issue with Snow Leopard on my MacBook. I'm attaching my console report identifying the iSight camera in use. As it is, the function in My Movies Free is unusable. The program is getting a mirror image, unfocused, and can't seem to take the picture.

As for the iPhone version, it works, but I'm trying to test your program to see if I want to buy it. Even if I like it, I'm not sure I want to pay for two versions, one for iPhone and one for MacBook. Not being able to fully use the OSX version is a big issue for me.

File Attachment(s):
Console Messages.log (1kb) downloaded 2 time(s).

mareich: I think you perhaps saved selection, rather than full log - the log only have the camera model, and not the resolution, which is also needed.

Can you create a new log?

And, please also let us know the CPU, screensize and memory in your MacBook, for us to determine exact model.

This is the main problem with these camera's - they are not auto-focus cameras, which means that they have a fixed point where the image is in focus.

Thank you for the details - we will try to look at it.
