I've just built a high end HTPC and loaded 100 movies and two full TV series using My Movies and WMC (with Media Player) for DVDs -- it works great. Recently, I'm working towards BluRay but TMT 5 has major issues. Playback for BluRay using the BD drive, ISO image, or BDMV are very choppy (including just standalone player) and in fact isntalling TMT 5 screws up DVD playback. I have contacted ArcSoft support and they have given response that it is a known problem and that a fix should occur "in this month". Problem is that from reading their forums this appears to be an ongoing problem.
If TMT 5 issues are not resolved soon, I'm going to review PowerDVD Ultra 11. I've read on Wiki that TMT is prefered with MM. What is downside of using PowerDVD or maybe Downside and Upside.
Thanks.

Late response, but it's working fine with the latest version 5.1.2.120. :)

Both have Nothing to do with mm. Mm Works as Good with both. Your GPU is the culpritt so to Say. I identified These options :
Best Out of the box Image for commercial Players is still amd discrete gpu BUT ati drivers + tmt5 = no no bluray stutters and several ongoing problems.
stick with ati + pdvd12 works really pretty good
hd4000 ivy bridge + tmt 5 some minor flaws but ok / with pdvd also ok someissues on tone correction but also ok
my actual setup is jriver for dvd playback madvr with a nvidia 640gt image quality is impressive and tmt5 again for bluray as i need full menu support andon nvidia drivers tmt5 just is a better software and integrates very well
