WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING!!!!! :D

ok, well your db has gone wrong

simpliest way is uninstall mm, uninstall sql, run cleanup tool
delete c:\program files/program files (86)\microsoft sql folder

run cleanup tool http://kb.mymovies.dk/KnowledgebaseArticle50036.aspx

reinstall mm
to rebuild your collection, if all was online you can import the folders,

or do a sync
open cm, webservice, syncronise online collection, download to client.

Hi there carl2005, I have a similar problem.... I appreciate your step by step instructions and have a question; How do you uninstall SQL? and how do you run the cleanup tool from the WHS Console (or do you need to log on locally?)

Also, getting ahead of myself, I have been backing up my system (the restore failed however). I've saved the back up files seperate form the MyMovies folder on the WHS, is it a waste of time to try and restore one of them after I do the clean an scrape routine? Thanks for the help!

I also have the same problem. There is no solution. The solution mentioned does not work. I already posted my errors when dealing with mymovies but my sql installation settings in registry are empty.
I never did anything with mymovies program. just one day it couldn't connect anymore. Windows update problems maybe?

Worthless if you ask me.

If you have the above problems like i do then goodbuy mymovies, and donations. I have to look for other software.

You can at any time do a full uninstall:

http://kb.mymovies.dk/KnowledgebaseArticle50036.aspx?Keywords=uninstall

This will remove everything including the database and database server.

Reinstalling after that is the same as a fully fresh install.

But, you must have a backup of your database.

If the sql installation is corrupt like on my computer the above does not work. Reinstalling sql does not work. The only method is to completely reinstall Windows!!
I know because that worked for me. Something screwed my sql software.

So now everything works ok.

Had to rebuild the database but it went pretty fast.
