Hi, I have read what I could find and watched the videos on the website, but I am a bit confused abaut a few fields in the Collection manager. I can, at times, be a bit of a perfectionist so it might seam as a studip question as even I think that most fields are self explanetory. I am new to MM so please correct me where I am wrong.
The "Disc Release" field: I asume that this is the date then the current matching version of the disc was released
I am currently loading in my collection of Midsomer Murders that was distributed with a danish magazine from the start of 2009 but still many of them in the database displays a release dat of 01-01-1997 or 01-01-1999 I can't figure out whre people have gotten theise dates from as they do not correspont to either the first airtime on ITV or the Disc release dates that are actually printet on the inside of the cover.
So far I have send an error report stating the problem and the correct info and corrected the info in my Collection manager.
Are these corrections automatically passed on to the online service when I hit Save?
The Studio field The text states that you should list the studios involed in the production.
Again referring to my Midsomer Murders collection I can see that SF-Film has been listed on many of them. is this correct?
SF-Film had nothing to do with the makings of Midsomer Murders, they have just bourght the distribution rights for it. I have removed SF-Film in my Collection Manager, is this automatically passed to the online service when I save?
I hope someone can clearify this issue for me so that we can continue to rely on this Super great repository.
Kind Regards, Jonas

Disc release is date that specific print was first released. So different editions of the same title can have different release dates.
Clicking save doest not upload your changes. However, if the completion percentage is higher, then you will be asked if you want to submit. If this is not the case, then you choose a contribute option from the menu.
The studios can list companies directly and indirectly involved in the making of the film.
Using Jurassic Park III as an example, you will have: 1. Studio(s) who distributed the title to theaters. (Universal Pictures) 2. Studio(s) who actually made the film (Amblin Entertainment) 3. Studio(s) who distributed the title on disc (Universal Studios Home Entertainment)
Companies that are contracted to do sound effects or similar roles are typically not included here, but you should go by what is specified on the credits on the back cover.

Thanks for the quick respons.
I'll contribute the Disc Release dates then, as I can see that I have the exact same version as used to enter the data (same EAN, same cover, the works). just got confused of all the January 1 release dates, I can se that a few is actually missing the release date all together, so I'll just add those in. A few of then does not include a printed release date on the inside cover, but I am at the moment trying to get confirmed release date for all episodes from the company who made the DVD's

Just so we are clear, the Disc Release refers to the DVD itself (as the first date that edition was sold in stores), and not the television or theatrical release (which is used as Production Year).
