Dear Support Members,
I have following problem, for which I can't find any solution. Neither here (or I am too blind) nor in other communities.
I put a DVD into my laptop, which is connected to a Router -> DMA 2100 and can see the Cover on the TV screen. When I like to play it there comes a message VIDEO ERROR FILES NEEDED TO DISPLAY ARE NOT INSTALLED OR ARE NOT WORKING CORRECTLY.......
Configuracions as follows:
Laptop HP Pavilio dv7t 6000CTO
Grafic: Dual Radeon 6940M and INTEL HD Graphics (both with driver 8.882.2.3000 dated 30.Sep.2011)
Network Card:Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (Driver 7.30.1019.2010)

The DMA 2100 is conneted to BELKIN N600DB via Ethernet Cable and configured normal, means no special adjustments made, like default

With the DMA2100 I can watch Pictures, other movies like .avi files, music, etc, but not the DVD's

My Movies is the lates version 4.02
Windows 7 with latest updates, Microsoft Security Essentials as well as Microsoft's Firewall are running. The HomeGroup and it's Streaming Option is set accordingly (allowed). No third party improvement programs, like TUNEUP Utilities are running.

What can I do to enjoy my DVD's?

Thanks a lot for any help.

This is not a supported scenario - in fact, it should not have displayed the inserted disc on the extender.

The extenders does not support DVD's without transcoding.

Dear Administration Members,
I refer to my post dated April,25 (see above) - allthough you have written "not supported scenario"
Finally and with the help of your 2500 trial points I was able to to have partial success. Inside the WMC and its EXTRAS I can see the MyVideo Icon and its contents. I have made an ISO file of a BlueRay Disk, activated the transcode option (Tools->Option->Media Extender1)in the Collection Manager and the WMC is trying to transcode, but after a short period a message shows up >>TRANSCODE TIMEOUT-The transcoding process was not able to transcode 30 seconds of video within 60 seconds......your host computer....not strong enough....<< Is my my laptop with I7 2630QM and 8GBRAM in connection with an ATI Radeon 6940M with her 1024MB of RAM too weak? If you could help me out of this I surely will be a valueable customer, in fact I won't be the final user, but my son and grandson....I will only pay. By the way above desribed configurations are unchanged and I am running the laptop with HIGH PERFORMANCE and the Radeon is activated at all times.

thanks for helping
greetings from venezuela

The transcode function works for DVD VIDEO_TS folders and DVD ISO files only.

It does not work for Blu-ray, or for disc inserted into local drives.

Dear Administration Members
OK, clear answer and from now on no more bothering questions from my side regarding this matter. But can you give me a hint, how to enjoy Blue-Ray over my home network/media center?

thanks for your quick answers and patience with me
