Hi

I have just downloaded and installed My Movies 4.02 to my Windows 7 (64bit) system. When I try to start the Collection Management program, I receive an error message: "There was a problem connecting to the local database server. The program cannot continue."

How can I fix this? Thanks.

you didnt install the stand alone server. otherwise it would have connected.

reinstall the software and select client\server or standalone and it will then connect to your local machine.

FYI: I concede that i may give incorrect feedback, but I will try to be accurate as possible

OK, I'll try to install "stand alone". It's just I thought I should install a client-server, according to the following link:

This is probably down to Microsoft SQL Server Express either not installing or not Starting correctly.
