Ive had my movies on android smartphone for a while now, amazing app...
However recently I have noticed that when you view an actor on some it doesn`t show the movies they appear in on my collection. e.g.matt Damon doesn`t show any movies, where I have quite a few with him in.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I have reinstalled re-synced, however sill have the same issue..

The persons library is generated based on the cast/crew on titles in your collection, and you should not have any persons who are not connected to any titles.
So using Matt Damon as an example, if you view Matt Damon in the persons library, it does not show any titles in his details?
I can explain it being less complete than you might expect, but not empty. Box sets and the cast/credits limit in settings can effect that.

also you may want to increase scope of actors in settings.

My settings are setup to show all actors already still have same issue

Try reinstalling again, but please make sure to delete the My Movies folder from the system or SD storage first.
Enable "all" in settings and resynchronize. If it is still wrong a screen capture may be useful, as well as specific examples of an actor displayed in the cast credits of a title but that title not showing in that persons details page.

I've deleted folders and reinstalled, however I still have the same issue examples are Matt Damon I have a number of films he is shown in the cast but when you view him only biography appears not the films he is in from my example, films like oceans 11 12 13 all the Bourne films. Another actor doing the same is Elliot Gould in oceans 11 12 13

I have the same problem. I haven't tried re-installing, but from the above it doesn't look like that would fix the problem.
Example: Robert de Niro. Shows in actors list in several movies, but I only see the bio when I click on his name. The really weird thing is that when I look at the "Persons" tab, his name is not there!
Android 4.04, Asus Transformer TF101
I checked my phone (Samsung Fascinate, Android 2.3.5) and the actors info appears normally. Robert de Niro is shown to be in 8 movies in my collection. Oddly, his name doesn't appear in the Persons listing, but if I search the persons list (search Niro) I located him. Doesn't make sense.
I might add that when I installed MyMovies Pro on the tablet, I played with it for a couple of days mostly adding movies from the Releases listing just to get the feel of the app. I went into settings and set it to download all actors. I'd been using another app for cataloging my movies and I exported the data as CSV (barcode only) and uploaded it to the MyMovies server. I then sync'd both the tablet and the phone. It's a bit weird that the phone shows the actor info correctly... and I just checked the phone settings. It's set to just load the first 10 actors.
