I have recently acquired a DVD "TV Western Collection" that is one of the Television Classics with 57 Episodes. See front and rear cover attachments to follow. The barcode "683904505736" brings up a title "TV Westerns Collection (57 Episodes): Adventures Of Champion / Bat Masterson / Cisco Kid / Death Val" that seems inconsistent with the single front cover in the database. I have located the cover in the database through a google search, and similar content - but not exactly the same. Some episodes are added in my DVD and some are removed from the one in the database. So where do I go from here? Crate a new title? Modify the existing one to match my DVD? Some advice would be appreciated.

-Jim

Not able to see your scans for some reason.

If they are in fact different titles with the same UPC, you are not able to contribute this. See KB article for instructions on how to get it added.

Thank-you Lostinva, I will send the requested information to support as the knowledgebase article instructs. I do have one question first. The KB says to send photos and not scans of the covers, and yet the "Disc Title Contribution Guide" specifically states that covers must be scans and that photos are not accepted. Why the discrepancy in standards?

Thanks,

-Jim

Its explained in the KB why this is. By having you send photos of the box it is easier to determine that its an authentic title. They won't be uploaded to the profile.

For duplicate title creations, it must be photos - while actual contributions must be scans.

The difference here is that the covers for the duplicate is to ensure it is an actual existing title, and anything that is not a photo can easily be custom covers.
