I've read this:
http://kb.mymovies.dk/KnowledgebaseArticle50070.aspx. \
I'm running MM 4.02 on WMC7 HTPC. Firewall is temporally disabled. All machines on a "private" Home network. I believe I have 3 extenders (HTPC's that are running the client software) Plus - one server that has the movies and has the database installed. I also have an iPad with the My Movies software - I think I had this working - but we never use it in the home theatre.)
Anyway, I first tried adding a server manually (I wish you guys would use a better word then "server" - that its Sooooo..... generic! I take it to mean that this is the HTPC that is running WMC and My Movies...
that I would like to remote control. ...and not my Windows
Server that has my database!)
BTW: When Manually adding the IP Address the interface does not let you put decimal points in between each quad - why is that? I had to type "192168001008" so that it would not be vague!
Anyway - this did not work - so I decided to install Bonjour - and then Enabled "Automatically detected servers" on my Galaxy S3. It says "No servers found".
BTW: That link should post instructions on how to check if there are more than 5 extenders... but aside from that I have run out of ideas...
I'm hoping someone here might have some clues...

PS: A couple of other notes...
My phone is connected via Wi-Fi to a wireless network on my main WAN/LAN router. All computers are on the same workgroup - but of course the phone does not let you connect to the workgroup directly.
I've also tried this:
