Activation Problems - Hotmail, Outlook and Live.com Users

When you register a new account to use with My Movies, our servers sends an activation e-mail for you to activate your account. Because our servers send many identical activations e-mails, it is not uncommon for them to be caught by spam filters. This guide will help you locate or re-send the activation e-mail if you have a Hotmail, Outlook or Live.com account, using Outlook to check your e-mail.

Step 1: Check Junk Mail Folder
If the e-mail is not in your inbox check the Junk mail folder to check for the e-mail. If the e-mail is in the junk folder open it from there and follow the link in the e-mail to activate your account. If the e-mail is not in the Junk mail folder, please follow the next step.


Step 2: Add as Safe Sender
Add support@mymovies.dk as a safe sender to ensure that any future e-mails will not be directed to the Junk mail folder. Open the Options menu in the top right corner and choose 'More mail settings'. From here choose 'Safe and blocked senders' from the topic 'Preventing junk email'.


In the next window choose 'Safe senders' and then type support@mymovies.dk in the text field on the left, and click the button 'Add to list'. Now support@mymovies.dk is marked as a safe sender and e-mails will no longer be redirected to the junk mail folder.


Step 3: Re-send Activation Email
Once support@mymovies.dk is added as a safe sender you need to request a re-send of the activation e-mail. You do this from the My Movies application log in screen, where you click the 'Lost account' button and follow the instructions. (The image is from My Movies for iPhone, but the interface is similar in the other applications.)
