The My Movies product suite consists of three products; My Movies for Windows Media Center, My Movies for Windows Home Server and My Movies Collection Management. My Movies Collection Management is included in the My Movies for Windows Media Center product, but can also be downloaded and installed seperately.
My Movies Collection Management also includes an online display of your movie collection, the My Movies Online Collection. The My Movies Online Collection is not a product that you download and install, but a functionality you get access to on our servers when using My Movies Collection Management.
You can download all of our products for free, but the products require a free user account that you must create when first using the program. The programs holds a set of functionalities that are free to use, while some features in the programs require a certain amount of points on your user account - these points can be purchased, or you can contribute data to our service, and receive the points.
My Movies for Windows Media Center
My Movies for Windows Media Center is a movie collection program for Windows Media Center in Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Windows Media Center is a built-in feature in the Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate packages, as well as the Windows Vista Home Premium and Ultimate packages.
With My Movies for Windows Media Center, you can experience your entire movie collection, and browse through and play your movies, browse cast, play trailers and much more by using a remote control within your living room or home theatre. My Movies for Windows Media Center also includes the My Movies Collection Management product, which allows you to maintain and manage your movie collection outside Windows Media Center.
My Movies Collection Management
The My Movies Collection Management product lets you maintain and manage your entire movie collection, letting you add your movies with high-quality meta-data from our online service. You can either manage titles that you have stored on your computer, or home storage device, or you can manage titles you have on the shelf in your home, to bring you in control of which movies you have, including all details about each movie.
You can also use the My Movies Collection Management product to store our high-quality movie meta-data for other products such as Sage TV, XBMX, Windows Media Center's built-in movie library and many other products.
My Movies Online Collection
The My Movies Collection Management product gives you the option to syncronize your entire movie collection with our online service, which gives you a website that you can share with your family and friends, allowing them to see which movies you have in your collection, or you can use it to check yourself if you are not by your own computer.
The Online Collection can be configured to be open for anyone to view, or you can password protect it, allowing only people that you share the password with to access the page.
My Movies for Windows Home Server
My Movies for Windows Home Server is a special build of My Movies specifically for Windows Home Server. It can function as a My Movies server for My Movies clients, or it can function as a data provider for Media Center's movie library, Media Portal, Sage TV, Niveus Movie Library and many other programs. It contains a fully automated disc copier for DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray titles, as well as a disc copier for audio discs, that allows automated ripping of CD's to MP3, WMA, WMA Lossless or WAV.
