The data stored on in the database on your device reflects the data available for the individual title profiles when they were added to the device. The title profiles in our service is often improved with additional or more accurate data especially during the first period after the title was released.

 

By pressing the "Update Profiles" button available on the settings page (The wheel icon in the upper left corner of the application) the application will check and see if data have been changed for any of the titles in your collection, and prompt if you would like to update the profiles. This ensures that the titles in your collection always holds the latest and most accurate data.

 

If you are using the My Movies' software for Windows, or multiple devices to maintain your collection, you can also make sure that any changes to collection numbers, groups and other personal data are up to date on your device by using the "Update Profiles" button. Be aware that you will not be notified about changes made to these informations, and these are updated even when given the dialog that no updated profiles are available.
