Can't find "DVD Engine". May be it's because I don't have a DVD engine, just 2 harddisks. All the file I'm trying to read are DVD or BluRay iso-files. Everything worked fine, until 2 weeks ago I got the message "Connection error failed to launch dvd playback". I didn't change anything. I sent all my settings here and I don't know, what else I should change to fix it. May be I should delete all and try to make a complete new setup? Then I can insert my latest backup-file. Is it correct, that I 've installed the CM Software as "standalone"? I just want to watch my movies with the DUNE Player, not with my PC or any other device. Has anybody an idea, what I should change in my settings?

Today I've installed the new MM 5.0 Version on my PC. As before I have a Dune HD Duo with 2 Harddisk in it. But unfortunately I have the same problem as before - "failed to launch DVD playback". Here are my new settings: Why do I have to install a Username and Pasword to configure my 2 harddisks in the network? If I don't use these two things, I can't configure the pathes...

Okay, I'll try to do so. But what is the correct form? I've tried //DUNE:/__Dune_HDD1 and this doesn't work...

You mean, I should use instead of "__Dune_HDD1" simply "Drive1"?

Yes. From the documentation here: http://www.mymovies.dk/how-to/written-documentation.aspx?Page=My%20Movies%20for%20HDI%20DuneAttached Drive The Attached Drive configuration type is available as a configuration option both when you have added your titles from a network share and when you have added your titles from a local drive connected to the PC. Using the Attached Drive configuration, you will be asked to input a name for the drive. If you are using this option on a drive connected to the PC, you must disconnect the drive from the PC and attach it to the Dune - you will then see the drive with the given name on the Dune homescreen. If you are using this option for a network share, the network share must be one imported directly from the Dune though the "\\Dune" network share - this option allows you to index titles directly from the Dune for all drives connected to the Dune itself. The name configured in both situations will be shown on the Dune home screen for the drive. Having trouble installing or upgrading to My Movies 5? Click here for troubleshooting.Having a problem? When I've changed this as described, what do I have to do then? Should I "update" all data as shown at the bottom? File Attachment(s):

in this menu select "attached drive" and in name just type __Dune_HDD1 (for HDD1) and __Dune_HDD2 (for HDD2). With windows explorer, browse your dune HDDs, check each HDD root and look for a dune_folder.txt. If it's here you should find inside (just double click to open, like any txt file) a simple line storage_name=xxx. just be sure that xxx is __Dune_HDD1 (and __Dune_HDD2 for the dune_folder.txt you might find in HDD2 root).

I'm really getting crazy! I have changed pathes as you said: attached drive (verbundenes Laufwerk): __Dune_HDD1 and the other one: attached drive (verbundenes Laufwerk): __Dune_HDD2 . Then I've made a data-update. After that I browsed on my PC to find these two network HDDs in my Dune. In Dune HDD1 I found a file called "dune_folder.txt" with the following inside: "storage_name=__Dune_HDD1" and in the other HDD2 there was the same file "dune_folder.txt" with this inside: storage_name=__Dune_HDD2. May be the problem is, that there is another file on __Dune_HDD1/Index/MyMovies which is called "dune_folder.txt" too. This is the content of that file: icon_path=.Icon.aai background_path=.Background.jpg background_order=first optimize_full_screen_background=yes paint_captions=yes paint_help_line=no paint_path_box=no paint_content_box_background=no paint_scrollbar=no paint_icon_selection_box=no icon_dx=0 icon_dy=0 icon_valign=center icon_halign=left use_icon_view=yes num_cols=5 num_rows=2 icon_top=0 icon_bottom=0 caption_font_size=small text_bottom=0 content_box_x=120 content_box_y=290 content_box_width=1720 content_box_height=500 content_box_padding_left=0 content_box_padding_right=0 content_box_padding_top=0 content_box_padding_bottom=0 template_name=IndexRootFolder
Fact is, that unfortunately it doesn't work... :-(

Playback from network folder mymovies dune
Last couple of days, i've been experiencing some isues, randomly playback titles from mymovies server.
On th enetwork I've got 2 nas servers, about 500 titles, inserted as online folder, UNC.
I've removed mymovies, sql server and db, delete mymoviesfrom programdata folder, reinstallmymovies version 5.12pre2. restored backup, clean metadata, update metadata and synchronize with online server.
Same problem, if I use dune interface, source, network folder, playback perfectly, if i choose by default procedure "mymovies on tablets" wont playback.
Can you help me?
