Hi,

I'm set-up to generate metadata for jRiver, and it mostly works fine, at least for all my DVDs, HD mkvs and BD Folders or ISOs.

I have my 3D Blurays backed-up as .mk3D or ISOs and 4K UHD Blurays backed up as .mkv, and there is no jRiver metadata generated for these.

Please could you fix?

Also please could you add .mk3d as a movie extension for file monitoring?

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Any chance to get a reply to this? I've noticed that even the standard (mymovies) metadata isn't generated for some 3D Titles. I'd like to get to the bottom of this.

Thanks.

It might help if you turn on debug in Collection Management, then update or store a 3D or 4K title, and wait for 5 minutes after that. Check that Collection Management hasn't generated the meta data, as you've described, during the time that debug is on. Then post that log in this thread.

One of the forum members or the developers could look at that and start giving you some assistance.

Thanks!

Just to update the thread in case others have the issue: Brian identified that this was due to the fact that my mkvs (mostly UHD Blurays) and mk3D files were handled as files and not folders in CM. Same for my 3D Bluray ISO files.

IF I handle them as folders, the jRiver metadata is generated properly.

Files might be supported in a future version, but in the meantime use folders if you'd like jRiver metadata to be generated for titles.

Thanks Brian for adding mk3d support for file monitoring in the latest 5.25 pre-release and for your help resolving this :)

Also (brief off topic) looking forward to testing the new Oppo bridge, I should be able to do so by the end of the month hopefully.
