Been a long time since I have posted as any issues with MM were user error. But my server was running a bit sluggish due to my search for a WMC replacement I went thru quite a few programs over the years and worried that my slowdown was due to install/uninstall of them all so I just performed a full clean rebuild of my server (PowerEdge T420 with Windows Sever 2012 R2 Essentials) on a new SSD and I am having the worst time getting MyMovies to install.

Installed OS (Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials) on new SSD (128gb).
Installed all hardware drivers.
Installed all MS Updates.
Installed Plex Server.
Installed official release of MyMovies for servers.

I get an error saying the SQL won't install. I attempted to install the new SQL server manually but same error.
I reinstalled MM, same error.
I uninstalled MM and reinstalled. Same error.
Uninstalled the official release and installed the new pre-release of MM. Same error.
Uninstalled MM and SQL and reinstalled. Same error. I am at a lost.

My Movies could not install SQL Server, the installation have failed with error code '16389'.

No log files are being created by the SQL installation. And the dashboard is saying that it was SQL Server 2008 R2 Express that failed but I thought the pre-release was updated to install a newer version of SQL server.

Took me awhile to find the clean up tool but I finally did. Now i am installed and up and running. I would humbly suggest that the clean up tool come with the installation package in the zip file or possibly with be posted on the downloads page. That would make it easier for folks like me to find it easier.

Thank you for creating the cleanup tool!

I have made the change to SQL Server 2014 SP3 for new installs in the local code now, meaning it will be in the next release.

Hi Brian, does that mean that we have to uninstall, clean uninstal and re-install with 5.25 to get the latest SQL server, or can we simply install an upgrade pack?
