My movie list appears to have 2 flavors. Some have a sub-tiered item (illustrated by a plus) and some don't. I prefer the simpler display. I can;t figure out why some are different and how can I make the uniformly the simple format?

The plus indicates that there is a connected movie profile below it, or child titles for a box set.

All disc titles with movies or tv series data will get such automatically - you cannot remove this.
