Why MyMovies don't work on Windows Server 2019. Without Dashboard the MyMovies Server part can't work, but why i can't install the Client/Server Part to use MyMovies on my new Windows Server 2019 Essentials, he replaced my old Windows Home Server 2011?
To upgrade my old server, it should be possible to use the actual server OS!

yes, i understand this, but what is the resolution for newer servers like 2016 or 2019? windows home server 2011 and windows Server 2012 R2 are out of support, so what is the mainline from mymovies/Binnerup?
to install windows 10 on my server hardware could not be the resolution!
why it is not possible to install mymovies for window 7 to 10 on a newer server (2016 or 2019)?
or is mymovies dying?

It is not supported because it is created for desktop install.

It is not supported on newer server OS versions because we have not tested on these, as very users have had the need.

It is not something that is on the schedule currently, because it requires that we undertake a larger test on the OS'es, however reports we have is that the software functions without issues on these later versions - but the latest My Movies version installs an older SQL server due to a change in how the OS'es are determined, and this have caused a problem.

It is corrected for the next release.

thanks for your replies.
this all means, the only reasonable OS for a new installation is Windows 10, nothing else!
(yes server 2012 R2, but he is out of support)

You should notice this on your homepage!
