As you can see on the cover of my contribution "Die Vogelpredigt" with barcode 7611719741851, it claims to contain Dolby Surround sound in 2.0. I can however only choose 3.0, 4.0 or "No Value" in the "Channels" field in My Movies 2 on my Mac, after I set the audio type to "Dolby Surround". The 2.0 entry is missing.

This is really a case of bad labelling as Dolby Surround 2.0 doesn't really exist. Technically ALL Dolby Surround is 2.0 as it encodes the surround channels as part of the normal stereo mix which a Dolby Surround decoder can then extract the extra rear or center and rear channels from. So really it is either Dolby Surround 3.0 or 4.0 when decoded.
Literally speaking Dolby Surround 2.0 would just be ordinary stereo if it contained no surround encode at all.
