I'm trying to preview some of my TV series "Titles" via MMCM, however, I'm receiving the following error message: "Please install Media Player Classic, which is required for previews."
FYI - I'm running MM 5.12 on my Windows 7 PC, I have a Windows Home Server 2011 with MM installed, and my TV Series are full disc rips with episode mapping. My MM installs are traditional that I'm aware of, so I'm not clear why the preview functionality is not working as expected.
Thanks in advance for your help.

The obvious question here is whether you have Media Player Classic installed, because it thinks you do not. It is required from some functions, but is not installed for you.

How do I install Media Player Classic? I thought it was part of the default MM installation, which I always install. If this isn't the case, please point me to the Media Player Classic install package. Thank you.

Media Player Classic is free to download media player, it is not a part of My Movies and it is not installed as part of the My Movies product or install but My Movies can use it as an external player (in the latest version) and for a number of features including the 'preview' option from within the discs tab when you have read in disc structures and are trying to preview titles or chapters to establish main movie or episode selections. MPC is one of the few free players that will allow playback selection of mpls playlist entries for Blu-ray allowing accurate episode mapping of Blu-ray TV series. You can download it form its homepage https://mpc-hc.org/ its the first google hit for media player classic.

Has this feature broken since MPC released their final version? I most definitely have MPC installed, but still get the error message.

I am still on 5.40 amd MPC works for me. The last version of MPC was done in 2017. There is MPC-BE which I use to watch movies. I do have MPC and MPC-BE installed so it could be that mymovies may be looking for MPC-BE? MPC is still on sourceforge https://sourceforge.net/projects/mpc-hc/MPC-BE is at https://www.videohelp.com/software/MPC-BE
