Getting "Please synchronize playback paths from Collection Manager" when trying to play The Omen Pentology dvd box on my Dune Pro 4K from the Android MyMovie app on my Samsung S22 Ultra.

I can go to any of the subpages and play each individual film from there but as disc 6 is only extra material I have no way of playing that extra disc.

All six discs and paths have been registered through the My Movies Windows client, so why is the mobile app not seeing them? I don't have any issues with viewing individual films.

Yes, it does. Everything seems synched. I add new entries all the time from the windows client.
This only seems to be an issue on box sets.

I have the paths set both on the box and on the individual titles but they only work on the individual titles, which is why I can't play the extra disc 6 of the Omen box.

So, are you saying that there is no way to play the discs of a box set? And why would you stop developing that part?

It sounds like the box set may not have been created entirely correctly.

What exactly is the bonus disc? is it extras for only a single movie? in which case it should be in the discs tab of the child title for that movie.

Or is it a set bonus disc with extras that span multiple movies or the set in general? If so as a set bonus disc it would qualify for a child title of its own within the box set.

Ok. I will try that.
But why would you have a "Play" button on the box (in the mobile app) and a screen for adding disc paths on the box (in the Windows client), if it is not the idea that we should be able to play the discs of the box?

The playback issue is something separate that I will have to leave to Brian. You can play from either the parent or child entries of a box set at least on PC, whether there is an issue with that when using a Dune player I can't comment, I just thought it worth mentioning that it sounds like the box set is not strictly correct, which at least would allow playback if fixed, though it would need a moderator to add an additional child, if one is needed as users can't add additional child titles to an existing box set, so you would have to report the box set parent as needing an extra child title for a set bonus disc (assuming of course that is the case).

Because the parts to support these media players have not been developed for years, and we are not focusing on playback any longer, sorry.

Oh? I'm sorry to hear that. The playback function seems to be the only thing that separates you from all other collection archiving apps.
