I have been adding "Running Times" to items in my collection (My Movie Pro 4, latest version of iPad OS 16.3.1) that lack this ("Not Specified" when I sort on Running Time) and am left with just two that I can't manage. The following is the sequence of events:
1. Tap on Item (Riding High 1950, from iTunes purchase recently, or The Prowler 1951, digital rip as no studio and copyright expiry). 2. For Riding High I get "This Profile is 60% complete..." 3. Tap on "Show more" — Running Time listed as missing (consistent with sort). 4. Tap on "Add Missing Data" as the data are available on IMDb and in my iTunes library. 5. Receive an alert "You do not have the latest version of this collection item from the service. would you like to update it?" Cancel / Update. 6. Tap Update. Synchronization busy icon appears and then reverts to "Add Missing Data". 7. Tap "Add Missing Data" — Get same alert as previously "You do not have the latest version…" Catch 22
I could understand if it were just "The Prowler", because this was a McCarthy-era black-listed movie produced by Dalton Trumbo and directed by Joseph Losey and is in some sort of limbo, although the details are on IMDb; but "Riding High" is from Apple iTunes.
Any suggestions?

Yes "Update Profiles" is enabled on my app, and indeed the update worked with a few other titles.

Synchronization is set to automatic, but forced it in Settings. Message that it was already synchronized. Tried update again on Riding High, but same infinite loop. Will delete and re-add, as suggested.

Deleting and re-adding does not help, but I think I have found a clue to the problem. This relates specifically to the fact that there are two possible fields related to the time a movie runs for:
1. "Run. Time": This appears under DETAILS and cannot be set by the user. (Presumably it is pulled from a database.) This is what the sort option "Running Time" sorts by. If it is absent then, after sorting, a title appears in a final section "Not Specified" — the case for the two movies I mentioned.
2. "Running Time": This appears under PERSONAL DATA and — where present — can be set by the user. However user entries here (unsurprisingly) do not respond to the the sort option "Running Time".
I haven't checked every movie in my collection, but typically iTunes movies have a completed "Run. Time" entry under DETAILS. (They also have an emplty "Running Time" option under PERSONAL DATA. So why is this one title (Riding High) different, and can it be fixed?
