Is it just me or is anyone else experiecing this? I thought it might've been my hardware or internet or something, but everything else seems to be running just fine on my system.

I don't know, but the windows version has been running at a snail's pace for me for over a week now. Making it near impossible to get any work done.

I don't even know how to do that. And why would it be an issue now suddenly, when I've never done it before? It's the same anti-virus I'm using.

After checking System Monitor, I frequently find that restarting the app resolves the problem, releasing system resources, and speeding performance — especially if I’ve doing modifications of lots of records.

Yeah, I've always found that as well. If the program is running too slow, I just shut it down and reopen it and that would make it run super quick again. But even that doesn't work anymore.
