For some reason I can’t connect to my server, play to a remote player, nor use the remote anymore on iOS MyMovies 4 Pro. Did something happen during the 4.10 update?

The server connection and remote play features are intended to be deprecated with My Movies 5, and the current code on 4.10 is containing some refactoring of code in preparation of version 5, but it is not intended that it should not work on 4.10. The features are in as "as long as it works" though, and have not been touched for years, and won't be if issues gets down to the implementation being unable to function with Xcode (development environment) or OS changes. We will take a look and see if there are changes that should not have been applied. Having trouble installing or upgrading to My Movies 5? Click here for troubleshooting.Having a problem? We will take a look and see if there are changes that should not have been applied. Thanks for looking into it! It seemed really weird that it would all be stripped out, mid-release, without any prior warning. Here’s a screenshot in 4.10, there’s no “Connect to My Movies Server” nor “Remote Control” in there at all anymore. File Attachment(s):

It is also not intentional - but it is a feature build on very, very old code, and each time we build a new release, we build on latest Xcode (development environment), and sometimes that means that some is not working right. If this ends up being something that we cannot just re-add, it will however mean that we won't be re-adding it and then those needing it will need to install a prior build in the store. We are deprecating it as less than 1% of the users on the app is using these features, and cost wise it does not make sense to continue to maintain it. That all makes sense and I realize that nobody else is using a modified bridge device dll to play to their Oppo like me. It works really well, but it’s just not what most people do anymore, sadly. I just figured that there would’ve been some warning before the functionality was removed from iOS. I’m happy to go back to the previous build, but didn’t think it was possible to install/revert to a prior build from the iOS App Store?

From what I can tell, you can only “downgrade” builds if you have an older device running an incompatible older iOS version.
