Hi

Today you support DVD, HDDVD and Blu-ray - any chance you could support Laserdiscs?

On www.LDDB.com you can see the data attributes needed for laserdiscs.

Hope you will support Laserdiscs so that my movie collection can be complete.

Thank you for a good product.

/Michael

Laserdiscs will not be supported, sorry.

There are too few users who have these.

You may use the new generic movie profiles to add them, and select the type to be a laserdisc.

Here is another vote for adding native Laserdisc support. You do not want me to add 300 titles manually, do you ? :)

Hi,

I have the latest versions of the iPhone and iPad apps and the latest 5.11 build for Windows. The "Type" "Media Type" do not show a selection for LaserDisc. Where can I find it?

There will not be native data for LaserDisc nor VHS.

I think it would be a good idea to be able to add vhs, vcd and laserdisc.
To be able to add this feature without adding a lot of work to the Mymovies team, simply add the vhs, vcd and laserdisc tabs as standard and disable the tab request service.

In this way, for the Mymovies team it would be like checking any user file to share: review the cover provided and the imdb file.

You could even just add this idea only to the PC program, being able to view the files in the app.

I think it would be a great idea and would greatly improve the Mymovies program without adding a different job to the Mymovies team.

Sorry for my English.

As Laserdiscs can be added the normal way, I think it would be great to have the option to add other legacy format the same way. Even with Laserdisc most titels are not recognized, I think for other formats it would be nice to have the option to add them the normal way, but without support for the online database. This way no extra monitoring is needed. Personally for disc collectors my movies Pro is the best choice, but when you own a lot of tapes CLZ offers better management. Currently you can only choose VHS, but I also own tapes on Betamax, Video8 and VCC (Video 2000).

You can add these types using the "Movie" profile option where you can set the type to what you prefer.

We have not added these because we use the term "Disc Title" and these other formats are tapes.
