HHi, sorry to bother I changed my PC and I wish to install My Movies on windows 11 I tried more times... but I have this error: https://prnt.sc/U_Lgw_c-b44Tcould you help me please? Thanks in advance

Hi there.... I tried to use Clean tools for MyMovies I rebooted my win 11 pc I reinstalled and I had to manually install also SQL interface Installation seems to be fine but... after i launch My Movies Dashboard I have this new error: https://prnt.sc/ESctdZ_dAERu(screenshot)

Hi,
That's error occurs when version 5.41 Pre Release 5 was installed.
That upend to me. The solution is to uninstall that version (as well SQL program: doesn't work with the stable version) and install version 5.40.

I already had a problem with SQL server and MM...
Basicly, download the SQL installer from microsoft to the "C:\ProgramData\My Movies" folder, and try to install MM

I used AGAIN MyMovies clean tool I update windows 11 I tried to install MyMovies.. here it is the result: https://prnt.sc/-r8GAxrrg86QSo I'm trying to install SQL 2014 server as you see in the follow screenshot https://prnt.sc/kQkZTfPX0Hj6an I added a new features to existing instance of SQL server 2014; I selected ALL available features; Si it seems the installation will be finished; I logged in with my account and... https://prnt.sc/-rckPuSNbA5cThe connection to the internal database is currently not available. The application will close.
I also tried to open My Movies collection and tried to Sync from ther and I had another error: https://prnt.sc/2Z9Yvb2V8SvjAt this point I follow instruction here: https://www.mymovies.dk/forum.aspx?g=posts&t=7710an AGAIN I wrote tu support for assitance I hope they answer me....

@Binnerup I removed 5.40 with My Movies clean tool I installed My Movies 5.41 pre release (2022!); I reboot my pc; Here it is report.htm of System configuration check of SQL Server 2014 Note that only one warning is listed there; It's from firewall; So I add 2 new rules on firewall INgoing connection rules and OUTgoing connection rules for MyMovies.exe program INgoing rule  OUTgoing rule  I also added INgoing connection rules and OUTgoing connection for port: TCP 1433, 4022, 135, 1434, UDP 1434. following this: https://learn.microsoft.com/it-it/sql/sql-server/install/configure-the-windows-firewall-to-allow-sql-server-access?view=sql-server-ver16&redirectedfrom=MSDNI have however this error The connection to the internal database is not available. The application will be closed.

I'm in the process of upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The current version of MyMovies (latest pre-release) is still running on SQL Server Windows NT - 64-Bit version 12.0.6179.1 (file version 2014.120.6179.1), which is NOT supported in Windows 11. What is the process for upgrading SQL Server within the MyMovies context to SQL Server 2022 so we don't lose our data? Maybe I should re-phrase this: I'd like to re-install MyMovies to use SQL Server 2022 as its base rather than SQL Server NT.
What is the supported process for de-installing/removing MyMovies and (non-supported) SQL Server Windows NT on my system, and re-installing where it will use SQL Server 2022 instead of SQL Server Windows NT (and will not re-install the removed SQL Server Windows NT)?
