How do you contribute a 13 digit EAN code DVD that is issued in the US. I get the error that i cant contribute the disc because the 13 digit EAN is for another country other than the US. The disc is released in the US. produced in Tucson Arizona. Attached is scan of front and back cover with EAN code 9781583690567. File Attachment(s):

I have discovered, possibly, why this US DVD has a 13 digit EAN code. The DVD is a companion to a book of the same title and the EAN code uses the beginning code of 978 for a fictitious country called "Bookland" in the UPC/EAN code world. So this is likely a legitimate code to be used in the US. https://www.barcode.graphics/education-isbn-barcode/EAN code for this DVD is again 9781583690567, emphasis on the first 3 numbers in the code "978".

Should I report this in another section of the forum as a request for a new DVD Title creation? I can't create the title due to the UPC/EAN issue, but I think I have provided all necessary information to justify this being added to the database. Let me know what I need to do to get this completed.
FYI, there is a second DVD already in the database with the same title name and a different 13 digit EAN number 9781583690550, and registered as a US title. It has no back cover in the database, so not sure how it was contributed with that EAN in the first place. But, there is a cover image out there in the interwebs. It is at a lower resolution than the front cover so it can't be added to the database. But, the title is apparently legit...
How do we get this DVD, EAN code 9781583690567, added to the database?
