is there any chance of getting mymovies to name ISO/files of tv series with this type of format for example S1E1E2E3E4 as kodi sees this as Season 1, Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3, Episode 4 it gets very tedious to go back and rename all the discs to add that to the file name

This is not going to happen, sorry - My Movies have never changed anything on your file system besides writing and updating meta-data, and will not in the future - we do not want to have to deal with the issues it causes for users who enable something they are not aware of the functionality of.

But, as I understand if, when there is meta-data stored for Kodi, the naming is not important?

in order for the TV series to pick up the episodes is it is looking for Season and episode in the file name typically in this Format S1E1 or on a ISO image S1E1E2E3E4 depending on how many episodes is on the disc

the folder name that the show is store in tells kodi what the show is

for example on my system kodi follows this path for the Tv series \\MEDIASERVER\Videos\MyMovies\TV Series\Andromeda\Season 1\Disc 01\ANDROMEDA_S1_D1s1e1e2e3e4.ISO

so now it knows that the show is Andromeda and in that sub folder there is the first four episodes of season one and I only added the S1E1E2E3E4 in the image for it to see the shows

my movies rips that disc like this

\\MEDIASERVER\Videos\MyMovies\TV Series\Andromeda The Complete First Season [Andromeda Season 1 [Disc 1] [Episodes 1-4]]\Andromeda The Complete First Season - [Andromeda Season 1 [Disc 1] [Episodes 1-4]].ISO

granted the folder structure not that great but in order for KODI to see it it needs to be in a format it knows, the TVDB seams the least problematic for KODI but regardless of DATA base it needs Season and episode in a structure it can recognize like what I posted
