more often then not when i go to watch a movie it tells me it cant find the files because the server name is not correct. i have tried multiple times to do the bulk update however i am given a error that it fails

it tells me that 98 titles need to be updated, i click yes and i get the error

'there was a problem storing the change for the title '1' in the online service 'the titel was not found in the local database' the patch change have been aborted with only some titels changed please try again later'

really need this fixed, if i could connect directly to the sql db i could find these and update them

i started looking in the debug log as well, and even to the point of deleting the movies it said where failing but that didnt help anything at all because i dont think the movies actually are bad i think something else is wrong

interesting so when i was doing the browse before it was only finding 191 titles, based on your 'optimize database' suggestion from my other thread i now have 191 !bangs, but thist time when i do the browse and re point to new server location its finding 191 records to update.... and the update is actually running. so optimize DB appears to be working ( will update when it finishes or errors)

optimize db however did not clean up orphan file system objects for instance

i have folder - Arrival [Blu-ray] - at a 761MB ISO that failed first copy due to dirty disk
then i have folder - Arrival [Blu-ray] (1) - at 9.4GB ISO that actually worked correctly

so its all those random folders from failed attempts i need to identify so i was hoping to from SQL do a select folder_path from DB to get the DB mapped folders and then compare against the server storage file system and then delete the folders not mapped in the DB
