Same here. Neither work, search by title or IMDb ID. If I search by title I don't get an error. The process completes successfully, but no data populates. If I search by IMDb ID I get the error message. My DVD/Blu-ray CollectionHome Theater Gallery

Same here. As fdavis71 wrote it is possible to ignore the error announcement and search by title. But there is no data transfer after the process completed.

Do we have any timeline on when these issues may start getting resolved?

I now believe that there is no longer a timeline. The app doesn't make enough profit anymore and programmers are expensive. The problem could certainly be solved quickly in terms of programming.

The "C:\ProgramData\MyMovies\DataProviders\IMDB.com.NET2.0.dll" file just needs to be updated. Once updated the file could be provided here on the forums, then included with the next build of the application whenever that happens to be. My DVD/Blu-ray CollectionHome Theater Gallery

It has been incredibly frustrating to have this function out of service for so long. As already noted, the lookup by IMDB-ID produces an error (which seems to be due to the “?s=all” parameter, which if removed from the URL does not produce an error), and an even deeper problem which is that the IMDB lookup results are no longer loaded. Lookups by title do not error out, but overwrite the current results with a blank list.
I’m pretty much at a standstill with all my data entry building out the MyMovie database for my collection. I’m hoping there will be at least a patched version ASAP, even if not a full beta for the next point release.

I've downloaded and installed the new dll file (and rebooted), but the IMDB search by both IMDB-ID or title has only been hanging for me. The "Search" box is highlighted, but there is never indication that the process has run to conclusion either with or without an error.
DISREGARD THE ABOVE: I found the "Unblock" switch in the properties, checked the box, and now it is working.

Thanks Binnerup for the updated DLL file. It's working beautifully once again, in my case with My Movies 4.07. The given IMDb data is downloading and populating successfully and irrespective of how I search, i.e. title or IMDb ID. No issues at all. My DVD/Blu-ray CollectionHome Theater Gallery

Import works now but Preview still comes up blank. Trivial, but wanted to report it. Thanks for the import fix.

Running version 5.40, and even after putting the new .dll in: C:\ProgramData\My Movies\DataProviders and Right clicking the extracted file and ensuring I do not have an "Unblock" button (had to tick box), I can still no longer populate the cast and crew using the function; it just comes up blank, as does the preview, other than the title field. It is doubly frustrating with this particular title, as it is only the barcode dot recognised, the disk ID works fine for the title, but it is a slightly different case art, and the different barcode! Any suggestions as to what I should do? Or has there been yet another change at IMDB's end that has broken things again? Any help will be appreciated!

FYI
Running v5.40, had problems with searching via tt number and importing from name search.
Found this thread, Updated DLL file as above and both issues have been resolved.

And no Dataproviders carpet.
When I create a new entry IMDB no cast and crew from IMDB... (MyMovies 5.40)

It appears the DLL might need updated again. A search by IMDB ID continues to work without issue. When attempting any search by title, "12 Monkeys" for example, the below error is given. Search Title Exception: Could not load data from URL: https://www.imdb.com/find?q=12+Monkeys@s=tt&exact=true&ref_=fn_al_tt_ex Is anyone else experiencing this issue or am I just special? :-P My DVD/Blu-ray CollectionHome Theater Gallery
