At least a couple dozen times I've searched my collection when buying movies and a movie hasn't been in the collection. Then I get home and there it is on the shelf in my media room. I always add every new stack to the app before putting them away so this isn't a case of my having forgotten to add them. Is there a problem with the db losing movies?

This is very likely because what you are searching for is different from what the actual recorded title is. Are you certain that the title is not there? Generally, it is best that you scan the title, as it will mark it with red if already in the collection, or yellow if the same movie is already there on another release.

Hello Heresolong,
I've had that happen also. I've noticed a few times that the app is checking its sync state and hasn't completed the sync before I began a search. I have a Samsung android phone. I'm hoping that is the cause. Perhaps some else can confirm this.
