I have not tested this yet, as I am in the process of recreating my database (due to having weird import issues and may be related from years after years of upgrades) but my question is,
- If I am
1. Monitoring all my TV Show folders

If I change an episode file, for example I have Seinfeld Season 1 Episode 1 that is in 480 and I change it to 1080 (named the same but file encoding may be different)
i.e. Seinfeld-01x01.avi changed to Seinfled-01x01.mkv

Will the monitoring change the Episode file to the new file (as the old file will be gone)?

In the past, I thought this is one of the things that dirtied up my database in the past. We dont have these problems with movies that are stored online (as they point to a path not a file).

Just wondering as if there is no easy way for this to be updated via monitored folders (or via API calls and/or SQL calls), maybe it just makes sense for me to not track Online TV Shows via My Movies

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
