Hi!
I just got the My Movies 4 Pro-app for my Iphone and I am starting to scan it all.
For me it is very important that the categorization on the MyMovies app matches my own physical categorization of my discs on the shelves. They are sorted in various categories such as genres or specific actors etc. After learning how the app works my guess is that the best way to re-create the physical categorizing is to create ”categories” and sort each title into a fitting category. So far so good.
The problem is that when I sort and watch my collection by categories, each category in itself is sorted in alphabetical order. And this is not the way I want them sorted. I want to be able to choose the sorting for each category, either by director or by production year, and only in one case by alphabetic order.
For example, my category ”European Art-house” I want to sort/view by director. And my category ”Classic Hollywood” I want to sort/view chronologically, by production year. And my category "Music documentaries and concerts" I want to sort in alphabetical order.
I would be so grateful if I could get help with this issue, thanks!
Or perhaps there is another way to better re-create my physical categorizing than giving each disc a "category" (that would solve my issue)?

Hi!
Thank you for your quick reply. Too bad that there is no sorting function for categories.
Perhaps you could consider it in a future update! It would really make it much easier to achieve the goal of making your app-collection resemble your physical collection.
All the best!
