Hello,
I've been having a small problem for the past few days.
I can no longer change the posters for the series seasons.
For example, I go to season 1 of the series and when I click on ‘select poster’, the window opens but nothing loads in the image download.
It works fine for the main poster for the series and for films.
I am using My Movies 5.40, Windows 10 Windows Media Center.

I think the problem is with the servers.
It works perfectly with films and main series covers.
So why doesn't it work with series seasons?

Are you saying that TV series season posters have been deprecated?

If they haven't been deprecated, why don't they work?

If they have been deprecated, why do the season banners still work?

Something's not adding up.

Not at all - the issue was reported for a deprecated client version.

If you are having the issue on the latest 5.43, then please let us know.

The original poster was on a deprecated version, as do you appear to be - therefore we need you to be on the latest version to determine if there is an issue on that.

You're correct, I'm on an older version because I'm still using WMC. I won't ask you to troubleshoot a deprecated client version, but what I will ask you to do is to take five minutes and check one of your own machines that are presumably on the latest version and see if you experience the same thing.

The problem is this: for any TV series season that does not have a poster contributed, I am able to add one and contribute it to the web service. But if there are one or more posters already contributed, I am unable to add a new one or select an existing one. The dialog box for adding/selecting opens and it appears like the posters will start to load, but they never do. It's like the first one gets stuck or something. Note that this is not the main series poster, but the season posters.

I've been using MMCM for nearly two decades so I have a bit of intuition about how the program behaves under normal circumstances and I believe this is a web service issue and not a client issue. All I'm asking is for you to test it for yourself.

Brian, you now have confirmation that the problem exists on the current version. Can you spare five minutes to test it yourself?

Finally!!!

I'm not the only one having this problem!

I tried version 5.43 and the problem persists.

I reverted to 5.40 because I've been using Windows Media Center for years and everything worked perfectly until your server update.

Hi guys,

This is hopefully corrected now.

During peak periods, such as when upgrading to new versions on the mobile side, we offload some file calls to Amazons services where we have a data cache.

There was a link in this configuration for seasons that were incorrect.
