Hi there.
MyMovies 5.43 running on Windows Server 2025 (obviously upgraded every so often over the years) MyMovies 5.43 on Windows 11 (Fresh install)
Both fail to copy music disks. Not sure exactly when this started but attempted to copy a CD yesterday to discover the problem. System has successfully copied thousands of CDs - the settings are correct! There isn't any conflict with .NET versions, SQL Server versions or similar. There isn't any security software interfering.
Steps are insert a CD, it doesn't initiate a copy, then eventually the disc is ejected.
It is NOT a problem with the drive or the CD. The system can copy no problem a Bluray. The same disc and drive, when used with EAC rips the CD no problem. Tried with both a new (2026) CD and ancient CDs that have previously been copied with MyMovies.
Installed fresh on Windows 11 to see if the same thing happens and yes - identical problem.
Snippet from debug log shows:

Waiting five second before trying again.
So it picks up/detects its CDA but then fails on the tracks (or something like that). Looks like it does that five times, then it ejects the disc.
Is this perhaps a regression in 5.43? Is it possible to revert to a previous version (and if so, where does one find those?)
Many thanks for any help. Whilst I know MyMovies for Windows is effectively end of life, the system works great for me, and I don't really want to move to another solution.
Cheers Spence

AI suggests this is related to a change made based on some windows update and WMP - but things were working for me the last time I ripped a CD.

my intended destination format is FLAC.
Seems a shame for this feature to basically be dropped but hey ho - my only buying ONE cd in like 8 months kinda proves why! :)
