This bug has been around for a while. I first noticed it when I started replacing physical copies of some of the movies in my home collection with digital copies, and updating MyMovies to reflect it. There are actually two bugs here: 1) the removal of the Collection Number from the digital Movie; 2) the inability to assign a new Collection Number to a Movie record if the Movie exists elsewhere in the collection

Example: See title "Green Room" in attached screen shots. Note, in the screen shots, you will still see the Title "Green Room" in my collection, as I later re-added Title "Green Room", but that is incidental.

Initially I added the Blu-ray "Green Room" disc to MyMovies. As expected, the Blu-ray Title record was assigned a Collection Number when I added the record, and the attached Movie record had no Collection Number. Totally normal.

Later, I added a digital version of "Green Room" to my collection in MyMovies. The Movie was given a separate record in the MyMovies database and a unique Collection Number for the record. Totally normal. (See "The Green Knight" in my attached screen shots, which displays a digital Movie record and a Title record, each with different Collection Numbers.)

Since my physical disc Title of "Green Room" was now largely redundant, I wanted to delete it from MyMovies. However, in addition to the successful deletion of Title "Green Room" record and its attached "Green Room" Movie record, the deletion of the Title also resulted in the digital Movie "Green Room" record having the unique Collection Number removed. You can see that my digital Movie "Green Room" has no Collection Number. This is the first bug.

If I go into "Personal Data" for the digital Movie "Green Room" and un-check the box "None", the next available Collection Number is assigned as I would expect. However, when I attempt to save the record, MyMovies throws an error that it cannot determine which "Green Room" Movie record it should modify and does not allow me to save it. This is the second bug. (See attached screenshots.

(Note: If I deleted my Title "The Green Knight" from my MyMovies database, the separate digital Movie record will always have its Collection Number removed. This first bug occurs 100% of the time. For the second bug, I have not tested attempting to assign a new Collection Number to the digital Movie record in a case where there is NOT another reference to the Movie record, such as in the case of "The Green Knight" after deleting the Title. In this situation, it may not throw the same error as shown in the "Green Room" screen shots, as the ambiguity of reference may not exist.)
