When uploading the title data for the movie “The Favourite” (barcode 4010232077967), the following error message appears:

"Please do not add numbers to person names () with a number in it is invalid in person names. The name "Emma Stone (III) ist invalid.

I haven't changed the list of actors. Emma Stone's entry on IMDb also reads “Emma Stone (III)”. I can't remove the suffix (III) from her name.

What to do?

Edit:
Same for the movie "La La Land" (barcode 4006680078724)

Of course, I tried that. But after saving, „Emma Stone (III)” appears again.

After deleting and re-adding the title, everything looks correct at first. But as soon as you make changes to the title, the display changes back from “Emma Stone” to “Emma Stone (III).”
So there's still a problem with this title—or rather, with all titles in which Emma Stone appears.

All the movies in which Emma Stone has appeared now show “Emma Stone (III).” I think someone in the IMDb database changed the name for whatever reason. And since the MyMovies software checks for special characters here, you can no longer update these movies.

Coincidentally, I just ran into this problem when attempting to add additional Crew information for "Heaven's Gate" (tt0080855) Movie record. (BTW, this Topic title doesn't mention Movie record data. Is this the appropriate place for my report, or should I continue it under the "Windows / Support" topic?")

When I open "Edit Crew", the "Michael Cimino" shows up in the record as "Michael Cimino(VII)" -- see attached screen shot). I did not make this change. It was already there in the database, but if I tried to "Contribute Movie" after just adding Producer, Cinematographer, etc. data, the contribution attempt would be rejected as the names already in the database have numbers in their name.

Looking at IMDB for "exact match" on "Michael Cimino", I see many names returned. (see attached) We have to not only have a way to disambiguate these in the MyMovies database, but to be able to provide the user with enough contextual information so that they can disambiguate before adding a new record, or even selecting an existing record. In the "bug" discussion on Windows/Support, I suggested displaying and allowing entry of the IMDB Name ID. For "Michael Cimino(VII)" the IMDB Name ID would be "nm0001047"
