Hi,

I’ve been having a synchronization problem with My Movies for more than a week now.

Every time I try to synchronize my database, the process eventually stops and I get the following error message: "There was a problem storing data into the internal database – synchronization aborted."

I initially thought it might be an issue with the version I was running, so I downloaded and installed the latest pre-release version 5.44 PR3, but unfortunately the problem is still exactly the same.

I’ve tried synchronizing several times over the past week, without success.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there anything I can try to identify what is causing it or repair the internal database?

I’m attaching a screenshot of the error message and I will also attach the relevant log files (*.log) in case they can help identify what is causing the synchronization to fail.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks. I've deleted that title using the iOS app.

I don't have any other clients connected to the server. The database and the client are both running on the same computer.

Unfortunately, the problem is still there. I'm still getting the same synchronization error.

There is some kind of locking situation in the database.

I can see which query, and I can add a no lock statement to it for the next pre release, but we are a bit away from that.

I unfortunately cannot determine why your database is locking.
