Hi all,

I have created a list for those of you who would like to improve your contribution points, and at the same time improve the WebService in general, or for your country specific.

This list shows the titles on the WebService that has been loaded more than average, but has the lowest complete percentage. This also means the titles that you easiest can gain contributions for, and at the same time improve the service for as many users as possible.

http://webservices.mymovies.name/improveRequest.aspx

The list is based on load requests, so notice that some titles may be placed higher than they should because of "best matches" on folder monitoring and folder imports, where titles with a lot of words often is high ranked by the freetext engine.

I will get the counting system improved so that folder monitoring and folder imports does not count.

Regards,

Brian

There should also be an option to view titles that have missing data AND a back cover as these titles would probably be the easiest to complete.

When it does that, click the back web button and they did it agian and it will load. It's always had that problem.

Or try going under

http://www.mymovies.dk/documentation/donation-and-contribution-points.aspx.

You'll still have the same loading problem, but easier to re-select from the link (mostly the Missing Description).
Two trys and you'll see the list.

Certainly - the first thing to do is add all of your Spanish titles, and gets as many friends as possible to add theirs.

After they have been added, contribute the data to the WebService.

You can also improve existing Spanish titles by selecting "Spain" on this page:

http://webservice.mymovies.name/improveRequest.aspx

We could also use a Spanish translator to update the Spanish localization file.

This topic is still working? And the list is updated?

I would like also if the query should has some kind of order, such as by Title, or by % of missing data (NOT by barcode): in the present way it's hard to find the movies owned, or whom data can be contributed.

Thanks

The title & maintenance options available for moderators is much more robust. Maybe Brian will consider opening up these up a bit so regular users can use them as well?

So the US missing descriptions is almost all porn! However even there the UPCs show as not found in the database. Can it be filtered to not include any UPCs not found? Are those movies already flagged as adult and could be excluded from the list.

I want the hand with the project team an opportunity to improve data storage in Spanish? ? My films in Spain, but all products must be in English, if someone tells me how to help would be great, and if possible to open a forum and venue for the Spanish language, so that people who start a hand help.

It would be much easier to search by country if the country drop-down list were sorted alphabetically.
