Hi all,

My Movies 2 for Mac OS X is now available as a paid-for upgrade to My Movies 1.

It is available at an upgrade and introduction price of USD 14.99, EUR 16.99, GBP 14.99 until May 31'st - after this date, the price will be USD 29.99, EUR 32.99 or GBP 28.99.

This gives existing customers a time window to upgrade at a reduced price.

Did indeed get a message in the 1.48 version that the final version 2 is finally here. Great to see it, and can't wait to use it as i need to keep the collection updated to prevent myself buying doubles Wink

Also i want to take this chance to thank everyone who worked on this, planning, developers, bug reporters and translators. Great job.

Hi, I've just bought and downloaded the new Pro Version, but after starting the application nothing happens.
The menu bar shows the options etc. but nothing is available. No preferences, import, export etc.
What could be the problem?
I've got Mac OS X 10.13.4 installed.

This certainly looks strange indeed - I will involve our load developer in this right away.

It looks like it thinks it was logged in, so perhaps issue is related to keychain access, as it says "username" under login - am I correct that you did not at any point receive a login screen - it just opened right to this?

Right, there is NO login dialog or windows showing up. Even after a complete restart etc.

I also logged out from the older version to see if there is any difference - but unfortunalety no.

Ok, thank you for that information.

Our developer is requesting information from the console.

Shut down the app, open "Console" from the "Utilities" folder, clear the console and open the app - once open, grab the last few hundred lines or so and copy to a text document and either post here or send to support@mymovies.dk.

I've sent you an email with the output.

Noticable is the error:
Invalid Connection ID 0
0 is not a valid connection ID

Maybe there is - for developing issues - a hard coded test-user login used.
But that's just my semi-unprofessional guess ;-)

It is not, not - this is not a general issue, but issues related to reading and/or writing keychain information.

I have requested more info on email - we need to know if an existing My Movies entry is in keychain.

No, the keychain does not have any saved password. Just two other entries.
I've cleared all, restarted the Mac, but the same error - including the known console output

Thank you - and as we could examine together it seems to be a problem with the keychain itself - not the application.
Even after "repairing" the keychain it couldn't solve the problem.

My personal workaround: create/use another Mac OS user account and here it works totally fine!
(if other users should face this problem as well)

There are no episodes of TV series available? I did not find .. This is a function that should be available in My Movies 2?

It is not all disc titles that are tagged with TV series data, and therefore contains episodes.

But are you looking for it for disc titles, or have you added separate TV series?

No, actually, I did not find to see the episodes of the TV series.

I took the subscription for the new version and I have the same problem : everything is in gray (inactive) and restarting does not help.

You are likely to be affected by the same KeyChain corruption on your Mac - can you try also from another user account (on the Mac itself)
